The world is at war. This Action Movie starts with Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) and Autobots facing global persecution after Optimus Prime mysteriously vanishes. Humanity has declared all Transformers Franchise illegal.

Cade Yeager is hiding out, protecting a group of younger Transformers. He is soon drawn into a Global Conflict when he finds an ancient Talisman that attaches itself to his body, marking him as a chosen protector. Meanwhile, the military TRF (Transformer Reaction Force), led by Colonel Santos (Santiago Cabrera), relentlessly hunts all alien robots.

In England, Sir Edmund Burton (Anthony Hopkins), the last living member of an ancient secret society, reveals the deep connection between Transformers and Ancient History. He seeks out Professor Viviane Wembly (Laura Haddock), the only living descendant of Merlin, believing she holds the key to activating a powerful Cybertronian staff used centuries ago.

The quest centers on Merlin’s staff, the key to stopping the planet's destruction. Optimus Prime returns, having been indoctrinated by his creator, Quintessa, who plans to use Earth to restore the ruined planet Cybertron. Optimus is now an enemy, creating a complex conflict for former allies like Colonel William Lennox (Josh Duhamel).

The World War intensifies when Megatron and his Decepticons join forces with Quintessa, aiming to seize the staff. Cade, Viviane, and Burton must race against both the evil Autobot creator and the Decepticons to find the staff before the catastrophic merging of Earth and Cybertron begins. The plot involves the secret history of the Knights of the Round Table, who fought alongside Transformers long ago.

The climax is a massive three-way battle at the site of the ancient power source, revealed to be Stonehenge. Optimus Prime is eventually freed from Quintessa’s control by Cade’s humanity. The resulting fight features powerful Special Effects and high-stakes chaos as the Autobots and their human allies desperately fight to prevent the Earth’s core from being drained, ultimately defeating Quintessa and saving the planet.
